God Specializes

December 31, 2012

As we say “good-bye to 2012 and hello to 2013”; we should go into 2013 boldly knowing that God holds our future. During 2012, we had mountains that seem to steep, rivers that seemed uncross able and vallies that we seem to tunnel through, but through it all; God never left our side. The year 2012 may have been a dark year for some of us, but hold on a few more days. The year 2013 is a new year, with new beginnings; it will bring us joy. What ever happened during 2012 is behind us. Let’s us go forward into the new year with anticipation; believing that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither have entered the hearts of men; the good things God have in store for us. Over the year, some of us lost love ones, jobs, homes, automobiles and some had health issues. Whatever 2013 brings, we shall rejoice and be glad in the Lord. Let’s us go into the new year with open ears, apt to teach and learn of God Words, His purpose for us, a desire to doing His will and a desire to draw closer to Him.
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness (Psalm 30:11).
I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit (Psalm 30:1-3).
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning (Psalm 30:5).
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:19).
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5).
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1).
