God Is Not Limited

February 4, 2013

Many (Christians) goes through life with our heads hung low, with disbeliefs in their hearts because they have limit God abilities.
We fret, whine and complain about what we don’t have rather than thanking God for what we do have. When we pray, we ask God for what we need at this minute. If you know you need $20. For gas for the next week, we ask God for $20 rather than ask Him for gas and lunch money. If we know we need auto payment, auto insurance, groceries, water and electric bill, you can go to Him in private and tell Him what you need.
As the old song say: “Jesus is on the main line, call Him up and tell Him what you want”. If you want a closer walk with Him, tell Him what you want. If you want to be filled with the Holy Ghost; tell Him what you want. So many walk around broke, broken spirits and have lost faith because (what we ask, did not arrive when we wanted it to).
After everything He has done for us, we should be praising Him and thanking Him. It displeases God to see such greed and ungrateful generation. We walk around with our funeral attire, head held low and lowly in spirit. Because He lives, gives us more of a reason to rejoice and sing praises. We can face tomorrow without any doubts.
We put so much pressure on ourselves by trying to live in large houses, trying to be something we are not. Be happy with whom God have created you to be. The fowls don’t worry because they believe God will supply their needs. Sometimes, they have to hunt for the next insect, but they don’t sit and wait upon God to place the insect at their feet.
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10b).
But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality (II Corth. 8:14).
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6).
The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1).
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead (James 2:20). For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also (James 2:26).
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not (James 4:2)
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth (1 John 2:21).
When you pray, be not wavering. Ask God specifically for what you want. Don’t just pray for a job, but tell Him what kind of job you want. Don’t just pray for an automobile, tell Him what kind you want. If you need a financial blessing, just call Him up and tell Him what you want.
I pray, this will enlighten you, strengthen you and encourage you to pray without ceasing. Make all your supplications and prayers known unto Him, for He does care for you.
