Deceitful Appearances

September 30, 2013

It appears, year after year, our government become weaker and wicked. We have three divisions of government branches and no one can come together for the best of the Country. Our elected officials are only concerned about self.
Why can’t everyone just get along? No elected officials are concerned about the welfare of the citizens. These citizens trusted these officials with their votes and welfare. These officials are trying to blame everything on the President.
Congress has voted themselves raises for doing nothing, taking vacations and extended time off from work at the taxpayer expense. While we are concerned about the threat of other Countries, our officials are present within us and are our worst enemies.
It’s time the citizens take back the Country. We should begin on Capitol Hill and work down to state level. Officials should be kicked out the offices and place a pad lock on the door. Neither democrat nor republicans care about the citizens.
Officials are lining their pockets, living in grand homes, driving expensive automobiles, taking vacations, while our citizens are struggling to make ends meet. What more can we expect, when officials are “lobbying for churches to sell their land” for a new dome. How much lower can we go? I believe his time could have been spent more wisely on implementing a plan to help the needy and less time worrying about pleasing Blank. After all, it was the citizen vote that placed the mayor into office. Did anyone consult God about purchasing “Holy Grounds” to build a stadium upon?
People are working two to three jobs at minimum wages while our officials are living large. Working class people can’t even afford a good health insurance policy and yet, our officials have the best health care policy known unto man. Working class people are not making enough to live on but too much to qualify for assistance.
We have put politicians in office that have no fear of God or respect for Him. If every session begun with prayer for wisdom, knowledge and understanding; the politicians would be better leaders and not just “good ole boys”.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalms 133:1)
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)
And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. (Ephesians 6:9)
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)
