Satan Devices

February 17, 2014

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

When we look at the evil taking place around us, we can see Satan is still “going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it”, his mission is clear; “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy”, he desires to sift us as wheat. Unless we are not rooted deeply in God Words, we cannot fight against Satan.

It is a sad day in America when a court finds a person “not guilty” for shooting an unarmed individual. We hear of officers going free,  Zimmerman is walking free and Dunn being found not guilty for murder. How long? When we allow everyone to carry a gun, what more can we expect?

How can a person pull out a gun, shoot into an automobile, flee a crime scene, drive to another city, order pizza and be found not guilty?  It is “open season” on the black males in America. Treyvon Martin was murdered for “WWB –Walking while black.” Davis was shot for LTMWB –Listening to Music while Black.”  Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.  He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. (Job 14:1-2)

We see the evil and wrongdoings taking place in what we call “land of the free”. We must not let this hate and evildoing cause us to hate. It’s alright to be angry but not to sin. “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Neither give place to the devil. (Ephesians 4:26-27) The Scriptures tells us not to worry or complain. Don’t worry and fret, God has not forgotten. When “soon be” comes, he will cut the evildoers down like grass and they shall never be able to rise or hurt another person. “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb”. (Psalms 37:1-2) “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”. (Galatians 6:7)

Martin and Davis lost their lives because of hate. Their blood will always be on the juror hands. They cannot wash away their innocent blood. Their blood will be avenged one day by a high Judge. Jesus had done no wrong but was crucified. According to the media, Martin nor Davis did anything wrong but the jurors did not see any wrongdoings on behalf of the shooters. Instead, they find a “not guilty” verdict. “And he said, what hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand”. (Genesis 4:10-11).

If Martin or Davis would have been one of the juror’s sons, there is no doubt that a “guilty verdict” would have quickly been rendered. We can no longer sit by and allow our children to be shot down because their skin is different. Certain animals, birds and reptiles are protected by the state and placed on the endangered species list but a person with a different skin color has no protection in this “land of the free”. Too many leaders are not willing to fight for the “young men without a voice”. Because we move to the right zip code, drive a certain kind of automobile or have a title behind our name, we become too ashamed of the color we were born. We do not have any legal representation. Many Black attorneys are not willing to take a “pro bono” case to try and save a young man from a life in prison or to reach down and lend a helping hand by encouraging or influencing them.

Dr. King was a voice for the voiceless. He never left anyone behind. He fought and died for every American to have the same right. In so many cases, the fight died with Dr. King. Leaders have become more like Pilate. They see the need but “wash their hands” and turn the young men over to be crucified.

We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but the seed Satan have planted inside that person. Satan is using every tactic to cause hate, confusion, hurt, divide and the pulling away from God. We have to get back to loving one another, turn from our sins, pray and pray for a world-wide revival. When we have turned, repented, prayed and sought His face, then will we hear from Heaven and He will heal the land. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath. Black soldiers fought and died for freedom of this Country, only for this Country to turn against anyone that looks like them.
