Are You Ready?

February 24, 2014

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in diver’s places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. Mark 13:7-8)

According to the news media, the earthquake on Friday night in South Carolina registered a 4.1 and was the largest quake in this area since 1916. Though the quake was in South Carolina, its effects were felt in the northeast area of Georgia. God Hand is writing on the wall.

How long will God withhold His judgment? How long will we continue gambling with our souls? How long will we continue playing? If Jesus returned today, will you be ready? Have you accepted Him as your personal Savior? Do you know how to be saved? If you have not accepted Him, what are your reasons?

When we look around, we see the Bible being fulfilled daily. We have seen snow one week and snow and ice the following weeks in Georgia. We have become a generation that won’t stand on the Words of God. We allow everything under the sun to take place and we keep quiet.

In the last two years, I have noticed more “wickness and greed”.  Package Stores being built and open on Sunday, discriminatory of races, lack of witnessing, lack of teaching, trying to legalize marriage between two men or two women, legalizing marijuana, selling church property to build a new stadium; while neglecting the sick, poor, needy, homeless, convicting educators of cheating while finding murders not guilty.

God is speaking, giving us time to repent and waiting on us to “turn from our wicked ways and repent”. How many more signs do we need before we repent? Time is running out. God have been merciful and patient.  If you have not given your life to God, TODAY is a wonderful day. Tomorrow may be too late.

  1. This is so timely…we must all review that question and be prepared to answer our Lord and Savior….before it’s too late.
