Can’t Judge

June 16, 2014

This past week of television has summoned Satan back into our hearts and homes. The media went back twenty (20) years to keep the Country separated by bringing up the O.J. Simpson trial.

The juror has spoken and found O.J. “not guilty” of the crimes he was being charged with.  How many people do we read about that have never went to trial for their wrong doings?  What was the purpose of selecting twelve (12) jurors if we are going to convict him?  We all have skeletons in our closets that we call by name. Therefore, we cannot cast a stone at O.J.  Without Jesus dying on the Cross, His Resurrection, grace and mercy, we all would have been found “guilty” in the eyes of God.

When O.J. was playing ball, scoring touchdowns, running through the airport making commercials; the entire Country loved him.  Some of the same people that cheered for him on the field that he provided for; were some of the same people crying out “guilty”. When Jesus was walking the earth, He too, was cheered for the miracles He performed.  Later, some of the same people that cheered for Him were also shouting “crucify Him”

We no longer have to walk in darkness when the Glorious Light of Jesus has shined upon us. Think about when someone accused you of something and you know you were guilty…BUT GOD. Don’t allow the media or Satan cause you to stumble backward. (Remain steadfast in your faith). Let us not look back at the past twenty years, but look forward to how God is going to bless us and where He is going to place us in the future twenty years. “Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days”. (Proverbs 19:20)  We can’t say we love God and hate O.J. for being found “not guilty”. We are a liar and the truth is not in us. (1 John 4:20)

Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. (Mark 13:33)

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. (Luke 22:31)

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.” (Romans 3:12)

Don’t allow Satan or the media to steal, kill or destroy the joy and peace that God have placed in your hearts. A person spends more time loving than hating. It takes efforts to hate but the love of God to love.

Let us forget the things that kept us in bondage. We are free indeed through Jesus.  When we look back, we see mistakes, hurt and pains. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.  Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:12-14)

This is the work of Satan to keep us in bondage and separated.
