Waste

June 23, 2014

We have become a rich Country by God grace. Yet, we would rather continue giving to the rich while the middle class and poor suffer. We want to criticize the President for the spending, while we are doing the same in different ways.

Atlanta is indicting educators for cheating but allowing electing officials to cheat the citizens. If we are going to indict educators, should we not also indict officials for not doing their jobs? It is such a waste for these officials to receive salaries (with raises) for not doing anything. What other employers would allow any employee to remain on the payroll for doing NOTHING? Every politician is pointing fingers but none are doing anything themselves (except to throw their laziness off by pointing out another politician faults) Most politicians are criticizing the President.  What have the politicians done in their terms in office to grow the Country?

The taxpayers are hit with additional taxes to provide for state employees. The state allows police officers to live in one county and work in two counties over. The tax payers are paying for the gas, tires and maintenance to operate these automobiles. Have you ever wondered how many gallon of gas these automobiles are consuming in one year, how many tires we are providing? If officers want to live in a specific county and work in another county, they should have to drive their own personal automobile to work and leave the cruisers at the station.

What is the purpose of carrying the cruisers home except for transportation? If they receive an emergency call, how long will it take to drive through two or three counties? How many hungry or needed people can these unnecessary wastes feed or support? If any normal citizen live in one county and work in another, they are responsible for their own gas, automobiles, maintenance and tires.  I don’t see any ambulance drivers carrying ambulances home, city bus drivers carrying the bus home or firefighters carrying fire-trucks home.

You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. (Matthew 25:26b.)

And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ (Matt. 25:30)

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matt. 16:26)

  1. Great Post! We should all be more aware of how our officials represent us.
