Don’t Invite Evil into Your Home

August 24, 2014

After the death of Michael Brown and Treyvon Martin, reporters are asking the family attorneys the same stupid questions: “how are the family doing”. How would they be doing after their brother, son or nephew been shot to death? What other careers places employees on paid administrative leave for breaking the law? Most employers issue a 3 day suspension without pay for breaking the law. Since officers love shooting people, why not send them over to Iraq since they already have the equipment and armored vehicles?

These shootings have really brought out the evil and hate in people. It’s so hard to understand how people could be filled with such hate and uncompassionate when a family have lost a love one. Reading some of the posts on Facebook and Yahoo makes a person wonder ‘how can a parent post such negative posts”?  From the heart, good or evil is carried out. When we start mocking or making comments about another family tragedy is only inviting evil into your home. The Bible teaches; “A time to weep, and a time to laugh”.

Some have said M. Brown had marijuana in his blood. If he did, did it constitute being shot six times?  Maybe, he had purchased some legalize marijuana from Colorado. What did they find in the officer blood? Was the officer tested for drugs or alcohol or was he rushed off to a hiding place?

We can dance around the subject of “racism” until Jesus return. How can we say “we love Jesus whom we never seen but hate our brothers because of their skin color? We are a lie and the truth is not in us. What is truth? If we search for truth in any other way except Jesus Christ, we will never find truth.

In the shooting deaths of M. Brown and T. Martin, people have come out to make contributions to George Zimmerman and the officer families. In MY opinion, the contributors consent to the approval to these shootings. If the officer got off from killing Brown today, what would keep them from killing your child tomorrow?

This is man’s justice. God ways and justices do not always agree with ours. God does not align His law with us but we must align our law to align with God. Don’t get so caught up rejoicing over someone else tragedy that we invite evil upon our families.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8)

For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me. (Exodus 20:5)

The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’? (Ezekiel 18:2)

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (Galatians 6:7)

Will not the judge of the whole earth do what is right?” (Genesis 18:25)

When I refused to confess my sin, my whole body wasted away, while I groaned in pain all day long. 4 For day and night you tormented me; (Psalms 32:3-4)

Nonetheless, because you have treated the Lord with such contempt in this matter, the son who has been born to you will certainly die.”(2 Samuel 12:14)
