What Is the Color of Love?

October 20, 2014

A white woman in Ohio is suing a sperm bank for sending her vials from a black donor, arguing that her biracial daughter will be discriminated against by her all white community.

Jennifer Cramblett, 36, thought she would be fertilized with a white man’s sperm three years ago. But after she became pregnant, she discovered that the Midwest Sperm Bank in Ohio sent her the wrong batch of vials, according to NBC News. Her two-year-old daughter, Payton, has already been the subject of prejudice in Uniontown, where an overwhelmingly majority — 98% — of residents are white. Cramblett is suing Midwest Sperm Bank for wrongful birth and breach of warranty.

I once saw a little white girl and a black girl playing in a jumper. They were holding hands, jumping, laughing and having so much fun. Neither of the children realized their skin was a different color. When this little white girl mother saw her daughter playing with someone of a different color, she dragged the little girl out crying while still reaching for her little black friend. I over-heard the adult saying “you don’t play with those kinds”.

We don’t know the reason why God placed this interracial child with this particular Caucasian woman. This mother went against the principles of God to have a child. God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. He did not tell Eve to go to a sperm bank.  Was this her punishment for going against God principles?  This child could teach this mother and the 98% how to love. What if Mary and Joseph would have given Jesus away?

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalms 127:3)

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter in.” (Luke 18:17)

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Jesus never demonstrated any racism on the cross. He died for all races and nationalities and gone away to prepared a place for everyone that loved Him.  I am so happy that man can’t dictate where I will spend eternal life because of my skin color. Unless we look at people through the eyes of children, we will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The color of love is RED. Through His shedded blood, we all have forgiveness, redemption and love. Jesus loved us when we were not perfect and He loves us in our imperfectness.
