A Prepared Place

January 26, 2015

When death has silenced my voice, closed my eyelids and carried my soul to my eternal home; I will say farewell to this earth. I am going to the place already prepared for me and all those that love the Lord.  In my Father house, there are many mansions.

His word has promised that there we will no longer suffer the pain of this world, suffering will be no more.  Disappointments, rejections, sickness, death and hatred will not be allowed in that place of love, joy and peace.  We can leave all our troubles of this world behind.

We can’t go to live with Jesus in this physical state as flesh and blood.  Some changes MUST take place.  Flesh and blood will not be allowed to enter into the kingdom. Corruption must put on incorruption.  We must repent of our sins, believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and be born again.  Jesus replied: “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again”. (John 3:3)   Jesus further clarified this by saying to them: Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit”. (John 3:5)  Then we shall hear the long awaited words of our Savior, “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”

I just want to bow before Him, thank Him for never leaving me and for coming back for me.  I want to see all my family and love ones that have gone on ahead of me. I want to walk the streets paved in gold; where His face will light the entire city. We know and shall never doubt that over there, there is joy for evermore.  Over there, time will stand still as we praise Him eternally, face to face for His grace and mercy, for dying on the cross, forgiveness of sin and making it possible to be reconciled back to Him.

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” (John 14:2-4)

We know that Jesus is the Only Door that leads to eternal life. The way has been provided through Scriptures and teachings. Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. (John 14:5-6)
