In the Atlanta Public School Cheating Scandal, people wearing the same color uniform and looked like the Educators are bringing all the charges. When Jesus was carried to Judgment Hall, the Roman soldiers did not sentence Him but led Him there to be sentenced by Pilate. Pilate response (I did what you’ll wanted me to do) but now, “I wash my hands”. The D.A. office did not sentence the Educators but had them carried before the judge to pass sentence. When those guilty officials stand before a Righteous Judge, may God show more compassion on the official than the officials shown to the educators? Yes, the educators were wrong. The state could have terminated their certifications and fined them. Did the punishment fit the crime?  I find it difficult to believe in a large integrated Public School District like Atlanta that all the educators indicted happen to be Africa-American. How can we train our youth to do the right thing when we are doing the opposite? What examples are we setting? The crimes of persecution originated from “high places”. People cried out to charge the Educators for cheating the children but the same people are quiet when officer shootings have cheated families of a member. ONE LAW FOR EVERYONE!

Every time an African-American is killed by officers, the Justice Department is launching an investigation. When will the J.D. start taking actions? Are they waiting on ‘evidence of discovery’ or until all the black men have been killed?  Stop placing officers on “paid administrative leave” and treat them like ordinary citizens until their court hearing. Make them prove their innocence and stop allowing officers to investigate officers.  If we keep placing officers on “paid administrative leave” will have the same results. These results only open doors for other officers to commit ‘unnecessary shootings’.

It appears, officer shootings have become a daily routine. How many more senseless shootings can we tolerate before some Attorney General says ‘enough is enough’? How long can we keep silent while our young men are dying in the streets by the same officers sworn to protect them? When we continue allowing these injustices to continue it puts our very own son’s life in jeopardy of being the next victim. (Wake up) This is not what God intended when He created man in His image. We are to love each other, live in harmony, encourage, help and pray for one another.

“You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous.  I will not justify the wicked. (Exodus 23:1, 7)

For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? (James 2:2-4) “Do we show partiality to a person wearing a badge and uniform over a poor man”? (My words)

Prayer: Father, we plead the blood of the Lamb over our children. Build a fence around them and keep them safe. We realize our life is as vapor. Father, we anoint our children with the blood of the Lamb. When death come searching, it will pass over our children because of the Blood of the Lamb covering them. Keep our children in the palm of Your hand. When the enemy has launched weapons in our direction, be our Stronghold and our Hiding Place. We have confidence that no weapons formed against us shall prosper. Father, we take back our sons from the clinches of the enemy and hell. They shall live and not die. They shall be the head and not the tail. They shall be the lender and not the borrower. Father, we place our children lives and safety in Your hands. Thank You for protection, the blood of the Lamb and for You being in control. We yield all our cares and concerns into Thine hand for safe keeping. Amen
