In life, many days we feel we are spinning out of control. When we look on our left side, we see pains and disappointments. When we look to the right side, we see trouble on every side.

In this earthly life, Satan is using the strings to fly us like kites, to wind us up like yo-yo’s, to tie our future up with confusion and unbelief’s. As a spider spin it web to capture it prey, Satan is doing the same. Satan is also using chains to bind us and keep us from the future God had already planned for us. If it was not for the Lord on our side, we all would be in a state of confusion and unraveling at every stitch.

Satan planted the seed in doubt in Eve mind and worked through Eve to plant the seed of doubts in Adam. Satan is still planting the seed of doubts in minds today. If Satan can get us to yield, he will creep into our homes, hearts, minds and even worship services. In today society, Satan have become wiser through the use of computers, Facebook, emails, tweets, text messages, IPod, IPad, Instagram’s, smart televisions, cell phones and the televisions. All of these electronic devices are luring us away from God. Daily we check our emails, surf the web, log onto Facebook, text or talk on the phones. Before we know it, it is time to start getting ready for bed. We have spent hours on electronic devices and have not spent any time with God. When we fail to study the Word of God, we become prey to Satan devices and lures. We allow room for Satan to steal our souls, kill our joy and destroy our relationship with God. When David lost his joy, he cried out to to God “Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit”. (Psalms 51:10, 12)

God still hold the scissors to cut all strings held by Satan. He is there to pluck us from the web of entanglement and confusion. He has already broken every chain to set us free through His sacrifice on the cross. One song-writer praised Him through the words of a song; “when I was bound in chains, He set me free. He just keeps on making a way out of no way”. We are to remain steadfast and unmovable in our faith, studying, searching the Scriptures, prayers and not to let nothing separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you; that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” (Luke 22:31)
