Compassion

November 16, 2015

When death invades the ranks of the living, it leaves a huge hole in our hearts, causes our hearts to be heavy, leaves us devastated, hurt and even angry. When Lazarus died, Jesus wept, knowing He had the power to raise Lazarus up again.  If death brought tears to Jesus eyes, how much more will death affect us?

My heart, thoughts and prayers goes out to the families of those in Paris that have suffered such devastating loss of loved ones. . Let us also reflect on and remember the Americans that have lost love ones by guns, dying in the back of police vans, being choked to death on the side-walk or dying under suspicious circumstances death’s in jail cells.

While sympathizing and praying for Paris, we must also remember Americans that have died by terrorists and non-terrorist actions. This Country and the entire world MUST do 180 degrees. We must pray one for another, ask and accept God mercy and forgiveness. WE MUST “humble ourselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from our wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place”. (2 Chronicles 7:14-15)

We must pray without ceasing both in season and out of season. Satan is busy and seeking to kill, steal and destroy us. His actions are that of a venous reptile, that strikes it prey, injects it’s venom and neutralize its prey.  The world must recognize Satan as the real enemy that takes delight in the chaos and destruction.  WE MUST “watch and pray. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies”.  (Matthew 15:19)

While we see the world in turmoil, WE MUST Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is”. (Mark 13:33) As the children of the Most High, WE MUST “Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places”. (Ephesians 6:11-12)

Prayer: Father in Heaven, we need Thee in these evil times. Father, send a revival into this world that people will come falling and asking “what must I do to be saved”? Evil is present on every-side but we know that You are still in control. There is nothing happening that You don’t know about. Raise up more witnesses that won’t be afraid or ashamed to stand on Your Word and cry out to repent for the Kingdom draws near. Bless the doers and hearers of Your Word. Let Your word be manifest and be spoken boldly; that hearts will be changed and souls will be saved as we lift You up. We are asking You to draw people from the north, south, east and west. Father, we will forever give You thanks, lift You up, magnify You and praise Your Holy name. We ask You to look upon every bereaved family. We ask You to embrace, bless, comfort and heal family by family. In Jesus name, we ask all these blessings. Amen.
