Trust In the Lord

November 7, 2016

With the election coming up, we need God directions like never before. Since I became of voting age, we have always had at least one candidate to vote for. There’s so much at stake for the next four (4) years. Our decision won’t only affect us but our children and grand-children. I am not trying to tell you how to cast your vote, but to watch, pray and ask God for directions.

Stop, look and listen to the candidates. Form your own opinion and don’t be swayed by FOXX, ABC or Rush Limbaugh. We have heard some of the negative ads of the candiates. While investigating Clinton emails, the officials should also be investigating Trump for not paying tax or telling people to ‘burst them up side the head and I will pay your legal defense’. If the I.R.S. is going to deduct taxes from our checks, why should Trump be exempt? Trump announced one (1) platform: “I am going to build a wall” and many non-thinkers jumped on board. Trump was correct when he said ‘he was going to build a wall’. He have already started constructing that wall with hate, division and separation. The God I serves, has already torn down the middle wall of partation when He rose with all power on that 3rd day morning. Idots and evil-doers are slithering from under every rock and have pulled off the mask. Once, we was looking through a glass dimly, but now, we can see the faces behind the masks.

People, it’s prayer time. Pray and ask God that His will be done, order our minds and hearts. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy way acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path”. (Proverbs 3:5-6) “Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications with thanksgiving; let your request be known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”, (Philippians 4:6-7) Many are concerned with the wrong candidate taking office. Jesus comforts us with His promises: “Let not your hearts be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me” (John 14:1) “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you, he will never leave nor forsake you”. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Prayer: Father in Heaven, we stretch our hands to Thee, no other help we know. We humble come before You right now, casting all of our concerns unto You. Order our minds and hearts. We ask You to place the best candidate into the office of the White House. We look unto the Hill (and not Capitol Hill) from whence cometh all of our help. Our help is in You, the Beginning and the End. Amen
